Are you wondering how to buy cannabis concentrates online Canada? In this guide, we will discuss about the concentrates, their uses, popular items and where to buy them online.

Some people might be confused with the term “cannabis concentrate” when looking for cannabis-related products, either on online sites or through physical stores respectively. However, cannabis concentrate is only one of the three types of cannabis products that are currently available in the market today. The other two types are known as cannabis oils and cannabis extracts, in which all three types are the extracted products from cannabis flowers from various extraction processes. Once extracted, they will then be processed into a converted form, which is those three cannabis types.

Most concentrates are made via an extraction process from cannabis flowers, in which the extraction prioritizes the gathering of cannabinoids and terpenes from the flower, and the rest of the plant matter is discarded in the process.

Types of Concentrates

Under cannabis concentrates, several types of concentrates are available to purchase in the market today. Some are only simple types of products, while others are unique ones. Listed below are the types of cannabis concentrates:

Shatter

This type of concentrate has a unique look of being a transparent, glass-like product that can be shattered into pieces when consumed for smoking or vaping, hence its name. It is distinguished by its unique color, being either entirely clear or amber-colored. It is considered as a pure form of marijuana concentrates that are currently available in the market.

Wax

It has a similar color with shatters, but instead of being a glass-like product, it instead has a waxy, being sticky to the touch. People will be reminded of its texture as candle-like, and a particular tool is needed for handling this kind of cannabis concentrate due to its nature.

Rosin

A unique cannabis extract, wherein it is processed via heating and applying pressure to the marijuana buds, kief, or trim without the usage of solvent in the extraction process that results in the removal of the plant resin. This extract can be processed at one’s home. However, it will only wield low-quality results since machinery like a hydraulic press is required for a high-quality extract.

Oil

Surprisingly enough, there is also an oil-type of cannabis concentrate that is different from cannabis oil, wherein produced concentrates that are extracted via CO2 instead of butane are classified as such. This type of cannabis concentrate is usually found on vape pen cartridges or syringes that are ready to be consumed through their dedicated tools.

Hash

This is the oldest type of cannabis extract that is known to most cannabis users and its records, in which there are various ways for this type to be produced. Compressing kief together is the most common process used for creating this concentrate, wherein the result of that process will create disks or pucks that are small in size, with a greenish hue.

Uses of Cannabis Concentrates

The main uses of cannabis concentrates are for getting “high”, either via smoking methods (the traditional way of consuming it) or via the use of vaping tools (the modern way of consuming it).

I am a super concentrate connoisseur these days. I might smoke a couple joints a week now that’s it. I’ve got a cabinet full of vaporizers and all the extracts to go in them. It’s just so much easier these days and so many varieties of flavors. I can’t wait to see what the next great concentrate they create for us is!

I have been wondering for a long time how to consume budder. In my day budder was only for baking edibles. Can I try it alone in a pipe, or some budder melted on a little flower? do people do that?

It is nice to see these days that there are so many different types of THC Concentrates available for consumers. This gives people the chance to see what they enjoy best, for me it has always been Hash as I was never crazy about the extreme smell of smoking flower buds. Years ago before things became legal many people I knew did not like smoking flowers just because the odour was so strong if you did not want other people to know you smoked weed you has to hide the smell. Personally I also like Shatter as I find the high is very clean and you can use a very small quantity to get a great high.
