The classic weed brownie gets a bit old after a while. Your first attempts might not even taste good. That’s why we’ve made a list of the best, most delicious weed brownie recipes in a bunch of different flavours. We’re talking Oreo weed brownies. Vegan brownies. One brownie for every season and amount of baking ability.

We’ve got a whopping ten different weed brownie recipes to try. That’s right. Ten. If you don’t like one idea, you can try out the other nine. Some of these recipes make brownies from scratch; others require just adding ingredients and icings to brownie mixes that you grab from a box. If you’re new to baking, we recommend trying the box recipes first.

Fudgiest Fudge Brownies

Oh, baby. We’re starting off with a decadent recipe that will be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and then some. Let’s make some fudge.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup cannabutter
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Set aside half of the chocolate chips and melt the other half in the microwave. Set aside.
  3. Combine cannabutter and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer. Beat eggs one by one until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add vanilla.
  4. Pour in the melted chocolate and whisk together.
  5. Add flour, cocoa powder, salt, and the rest of your chocolate chips. Lightly mix.
  6. Pour the batter into a lightly greased 8” x 8” pan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes!

Fudgiest Fudge Brownies Edibles

Oreo Weed Brownies

What type of Oreos? That’s up to you. We recommend peanut butter Oreos if you can find them. This recipe can easily be made without any animal products if you prefer, but you’ll need to create your own vegan cannabutter.  

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cannabutter (or vegan cannabutter)
  • 2 eggs (or 2 bananas)
  • 8 Oreo cookies of your choice
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons of milk (or alternative milk) (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Combine mix, water, butter, and eggs in a large bowl. Lightly crumble Oreo cookies into the batter. (If you want to use more than eight cookies, we won’t tell anyone.)
  3. Pour batter into a lightly greased 13” x 17” pan.
  4. Bake for 28-30 minutes.
  5. Optional: Combine powdered sugar and milk to create a drizzle. Cover the brownies in the drizzle. Enjoy!

Nutella Weed Brownies

Nothing makes the mouth water like the mention of Nutella. We love it so much that we made our own version of Nutella. If you’re new to baking with cannabis, use good old-fashioned Nutella in the recipe first. Then you can graduate to using a big scoop of Budtella for your brownies.  

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 sticks cannabutter, softened
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Place chocolate and cannabutter into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat until melted in 30-second intervals. Once melted, stir in the Nutella and set aside.
  3. Combine eggs and sugar in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer for three minutes. Add vanilla extract.
  4. Add butter and chocolate mix and mix thoroughly.
  5. Add dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, and salt.) Fold mixture gently.
  6. Pour the batter into a lightly greased 8” square baking pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Vegan Weed Brownies

Vegan Weed Brownies

For the stoners who really like plants.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup maple or agave syrup
  • 1/2 cup alternative milk (hemp milk, anyone?)
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 cups organic sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 cup of cannabis-infused olive oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven at 180°C.
  2. Combine syrup, alternative milk, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Combine flours, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Add cannabis oil to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Lightly stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into a lightly greased 12-inch by 17-inch cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

Pumpkin Spice Weed Brownies

Feeling ready for the autumn? This recipe makes a lot of brownies, so save some room in your freezer to store your batter.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of brown sugar
  • 1 15 oz. can of pumpkin
  • 3 eggs and 6 egg whites
  • 3/4 cup cannabutter
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground allspice
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Soften cannabutter.
  2. Combine sugar, pumpkin, eggs, and butter into a large mixing bowl. Mix until blended thoroughly.
  3. Combine dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, spices, salt) in a separate bowl. Mix until blended thoroughly. Add chocolate chips.
  4. Pour batter into lightly greased 9” x 13” pan. Store the rest of the batter away in a plastic bag in the freezer.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Pumpkin Spice Weed Brownies

Gingersnap Weed Brownie Recipe

Not a huge pumpkin spice fan? We’ve got another spicy option that you can present to your friends during the autumn season. Wouldn’t this be nice with a cup of tea?

Ingredients – Gingersnap Brownies:

  • 1 box of brownie batter
  • 2 eggs, ½ cup cannabis-infused oil, and 3 tablespoons of water (or whatever ingredients are recommended on the box)
  • ½ cup chopped crystallized ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of molasses
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger

Ingredients – Sugar Drizzle (Optional):

  • ¾ cup confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ tablespoon molasses
  • 2 teaspoons of water

Directions:

  1. Make brownie batter according to recipe on the box.
  2. Add in both types of ginger, molasses, and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Pour into prepared pan and bake. While the batter is baking, make sugar drizzle.
  4. Add sugar, molasses, and water into a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  5. When the brownies are done, add the glaze to the top. Let the glaze cool and serve.

Rocky Road Weed Brownie Recipe

We’re counting down the days until cannabis-infused ice cream is available in stores, but until then, you can enjoy this great flavour in a weed brownie.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cannabutter
  • 1/8 cup not-cannabutter (aka, sober butter)
  • 6 ounces bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup toasted almond slices
  • 1 cup mini-marshmallows

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Add the cannabutter, regular butter, and chocolate chips to a medium saucepan. Melt over low heat while stirring thoroughly. Set aside.
  3. Mix flour and sugar in a medium bowl.
  4. Add sugar, cannabutter, and chocolate mix into a separate medium bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Add in eggs and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until mixed evenly.
  6. Slowly add the flour and sugar while beating the entire mixture. Set aside one cup of the batter.
  7. Pour remainder of the batter into a lightly greased 8” x 8” baking pan.
  8. Bake first part of batter for 20 minutes. While baking, add almonds and marshmallows to the batter that was set aside.
  9. Add this batter to the pan and bake for another ten minutes. Yum!

Peppermint Weed Brownies

Peppermint Weed Brownies With Cream Cheese Frosting

Cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy these delicious treats. This recipe calls for oil and butter which can be replaced with cannabis-infused oil or butter. We recommend choosing one or the other, but maybe not both. If this is your first time making this recipe, take it easy on the cannabis. You can always have two servings (but only after you wait for an hour for the THC to hit.)

Ingredients – Brownie Mix

  • One box of brownie mix
  • 2 eggs, ½ cup of (canna)oil, and 3 tablespoons of water
  • (Feel free to use whatever ingredients are recommended on the back of your box)

Ingredients – Peppermint Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 2 tablespoons (canna)butter
  • 2 oz. of cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon peppermint extract

Ingredients – Chocolate Topping (Optional)

  • 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup of (canna)butter
  • ¾ cup of candy canes, crushed

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Make the brownies according to the recipe on the back of the box. As the brownies are baking, start to make the cream cheese frosting.
  3. Combine butter and cream cheese in a medium bowl and beat on medium speed. Slowly add milk and powdered sugar and beat until thoroughly blended. Stir in peppermint extract.
  4. When the brownies have cooled, add the frosting and spread evenly. Let cool in the fridge for 20 minutes while you make the chocolate topping.
  5. Combine chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave until melted. Mix evenly and add crushed candy canes.
  6. Add the chocolate topping to the top of your brownies and serve!

Coffee Crumb Weed Brownie Recipes

Need a pick-me-up? These coffee crumb brownies are a great way to start the morning. It certainly gives “wake and bake” a whole new meaning. Feel free to use cannabis butter or cannabis-infused oil with this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of brownie batter
  • 2 eggs, ½ cup of cannabis oil, 3 tablespoons of water (or whatever ingredients are on the back of the brownie batter box)
  • 1 stick (canna)butter, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 ¼ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp instant espresso powder
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Make brownie batter according to the recipe on the box.
  2. Add espresso powder and chopped walnuts and lightly mix.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan. Set aside while you make the crumb mixture.
  4. Add butter, sugar, flour, and cinnamon into a large bowl. Blend until it makes a crumbly texture.
  5. Pour the crumb mixture evenly over the brownie batter.
  6. Bake according to the recipe of the box.

Raspberry Cheesecake Weed Brownies

Raspberry Cheesecake Weed Brownies

Our last recipe is our…healthiest? It’s got some fruit in it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of brownie batter
  • 2 eggs, ½ cup of cannabis oil, 3 tablespoons of water (or whatever ingredients are on the back of the brownie batter box)
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons (canna)butter, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup raspberries

Directions:

  1. Make brownie batter according to the box and pour into a lightly greased pan. Set aside to make the raspberry cream cheese mixture.
  2. Combine almond extract, cream cheese, butter, sugar, egg, and flour into a large bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Chop up ½ of your raspberries and gently fold into the mixture.
  4. Add spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture in dots throughout the batter.
  5. Add remaining raspberries throughout the mixture.
  6. Draw a knife through the batter to create a marble effect.
  7. Bake based on the recommendations from the box.

Disclaimer: Weed Brownies

No matter what recipe you are using, make sure you mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Unless the batter is mixed well, you will get an uneven distribution of cannabutter or cannabis oil. You don’t want that. One brownie may not pack a punch, but its neighbour will send you flying. With all cannabis products, feel free to experiment, but do so with caution.
